it's too hot for my liking...
You would think, considering its like 2347249 degrees out, that I could maybe at least stick my feet in my pool. But no, it still hasn't been fixed and probably won't be up and working until next week. Awesome.
Last night was my sister's final choir concert EVER! It would have been sad, maybe, if she was actually sad to leave. But Ellen, Shannon, and me started the standing ovation at the end. Haha, we felt accomplished for the evening. Chris (Nulty) had a funny solo that sounded like it was made for him. And of course Tim looked sooo bored and Kevin cried. bahahaha. People are too funny sometimes. (And Dr. J called him Kevin *Wendell* (it's Wenzel, for all you people who live under a rock.))
So I had my global project due today, which I didn't really start until yesterday when I got home. I get home at 2:30 and I didn't finish it until 10 o'clock. Yeah, that was awesome. The presentation was alright, but I had to talk like a million miles a minute to get everything in in 3 minutes. Afghanistan has WAY too much info to cram into a 3 minute presentation. But I'm done. : )
The Spring Shebang was today...and I've found that I don't really like signing yearbooks. Yeah, in 7th grade I would save 2 pages for all of my close friends, but I figure now if they really are my close friends, I will be hanging out with them and I won't need them to sign my yearbook. And all the other people that I might talk to occasionally in my classes, I won't be hanging out with, so why would I have them sign my yearbook? If you ask me, yearbook signing if over rated. But oh well, it's all in good fun. Tiffany was especially blown away by my signing. Apparently, I have great yearbook messages to my friends. : )
My last concert this year is June 8th if you want to come and see us suck it up. ;) (17-minute Beatles medley at the end!)
P.S.- Look in the Spanish National Honors Society picture, me and Mere are on the top left row and we look quite pensive I must say...maybe we're thinking about how much we hate being in SNHS? Or how much we hate spanish in general? You can decide that one. (haha i love you Mere!)
