Sort of wishing I was at ball...

Just got back a little while a while ago from taking pictures of Madeline. Aww she looked sooo good! It was quite hectic getting her ready though. Originally the plans were to meet at Lauren's at 6 o'clock to take pictures. But reservations for a restaurant in Henrietta were at 6:20, so that wasn't going to work. It was changed to 5:15. So she was at the mall still at 4:30 because she waited until the very last day to get her jewelry, shoes, and purse. There's a Snider for you. So anyways, the person who did her hair of course made her look like a poodle so Madeline was flipping a shit. I offered to help her but was harshly rejected at first, but then she let me help her. And I must say, I am quite a good get-ready-in-10-minutes helper outer. And I had to teach her how to fit everything into her purse in an efficient manner so that it wouldn't bulge out and the purse not look like a purse anymore. And Madeline thanked me for helping later at pictures! I was so happy because trust me, my sister doesn't like me a lot of the time and I was quite taken a back.

Aww and I'm just thinking how beautiful Katie looks right now and Fran probably looks quite spiffy as well and they look soo cute together. I sort of wish I was at ball right now. But who would I have gone with? Haha. I could have gone with that sketchy kid who has a speech problem that I see pretty much everywhere I go now(yeah...) that Will told to ask me to ball. Yeah, thanks a bunch, Will.

So Erin and I went to the village today to pick up applications for Candy Nation because we figured you don't really do anything and it would be mad easy. And of course, us being the idiots that we are, we didn't think that anyone else would have thought of that so we waited until just now to go get applications. We also went over to the coffee shop and they weren't hiring either. WE NEED FREAKING JOBS. So we're pretty much screwed, but I'll work it out. I think I'm just going to ask my buddy Ann to refer to some of those people she used to babysit before she got her 98723472 jobs. Yeah that's right, she has 98723472 jobs. On the way to the village, Erin and I were walking in a neighborhood and there was this little puppy towards the end of a driveway that we saw and he was sooo cute. So it starts to walk toward us and we figure it will stop for an invisible fence, right? WRONG!!! It walks right up to us and so we pet it for a minute and then we realize it doesn't have a collar with tags on it, just a bow. So we decided to go door-to-door to see if we could find the owner and the first house we went to, the person knew whose dog it was and I guess he just got out. We felt like good citizens. :)

P.S. I NEED A FREAKING BOY...

I walk half way around the world
Just to sit down by your side
And I would do most anything
To be the apple of your eye
Troubles they may come and go
But good times,
They're the gold
If the road gets rocky
Steady as we go

Any place you want to go
Know I'll be next to you
If it's treasure baby you're looking for
I'll search the whole world through
Troubles they may come and go
But good times,
They're the gold
So if the road gets rocky
Just steady as we go

So if your heart rings dry, my love
I will fill your cup
And if your load gets heavy
I will lift you up
Troubles they may come and go
But good times be the gold
So if the road gets rocky
Just steady as we go*
