So I read this webcomic called Red String and there is a character who is a Lesbian. Her family moves a lot and she moved away from where the original story takes place, so there are side stories about her. So when she moves to this new place she meets a girl and they start dating. The girl she starts dating, I think her name is Hanae (meaning ( Read more... )

I've been reading and thinking a lot about this sort of thing - for the past 10 years really, but especially lately - and I think what you want to be careful of is excessive calorie restriction. Which it sounds like you're not in danger of doing, so good, stay that way. I haven't talked about it overmuch, though I mentioned it in passing on Facebook, but I have been using sparkpeople.com a little bit. Check it out if you like; it's a bit overwhelming, though.

I think the trick to eating healthy is to add lots more healthy foods before you worry about getting rid of unhealthy ones. For example, I find that if I have a smoothie every morning, I'm chock full of fruit, the healthiest sweets you can eat, which then reduces my desire to eat all kinds of less healthy sweets. If I'd started from an eliminating-sweets place I don't think this would work nearly so well. (Now if I can just figure out a way to increase my vegetable intake...)

I think round can be quite lovely. It's such a dumb thing to worry about but I was watching the 30 Day Shred which is this workout with Jillian Michaels who is a personal trainer and she is all ripped up and I thought, "But I like being soft! I don't want to be ripped up! What if I exercise too much and get ripped up?" Not really a problem right now but I thought it anyway.

Anyway. I hope I don't yell at you about how you're not fat because what you are or are not isn't nearly as important as how you feel.

Also Hanae is super cute and not fat. She does have a great rack though.

I think about the getting too ripped up part too.

I don't want to be ripped. . . I would just like as close to a flat tummy I can get so I don't feel like I look pregnant all the time, and so I can feel sexy in things that show my belly or are tight.
