Ahoy there maties,
Well this past week has been interesting enough. For starters, Becki came out to visit! We couldn't have timed it worse though, I got sick, a whole lot of people showed up to romove the siding off my apartment very loudly, and I had a Neurology test that next Monday... Despite all of that I had a wonderful time with her. She actually extended her stay for a bit so it was a lot of fun. It would have been better had I not gotten her sick too...
I was able to see "Out Cold," "AVP," and the "Wedding Date." Out Cold is your typical guy movie about snow boarding, but comes off being stupid and funny - making it an all-round cool movie. AVP was good despite everyone complaining about it. Personally I like the Aliens and this movie did seem a lot like the book about Aliens, Humans, and Predators (I forget the title). Good action flick really. The Wedding Date had Debra Messing in it... ahem... this movie was pretty funny, some interesting plot twists and ironies that keep things interesting. I thought it was a good date movie.
Becki and I went to the zoo the last day she was here! The Denver zoo isn't incredibly big but the exhibits are impressive, though small in some instances. They also have a rhino that can paint. Before you make fun of me, they really did train it to paint, I've never been more amused. Also, Becki REALLY hates snakes. There was a bronze snake statue that she couldn't even get next too, it made me sad because I actually like snakes. It was also very cool to see Siberian Tigers from about three feet away, and Lions, and lots of animal young (hippo, lion, hyena, gorilla). There was an orangutan (whose name I forget) who came in after eating, sat looking at us for a bit and then proceeded to put a tarp over his head and slept. Oh and 440 pound male gorillas are really bloody big.
hmm and I am thinking about macs a lot now... no real reason.
In other news my rogue now has 28 seasons and a lot of cool stuff waiting for him at 31. He also finally bloody completed a lot of old quests with the help of his awesome guildmates.
I am not a geek need I swear...

mac, toby, weird, rabbit, movies
