I've been ignoring this journal in favor of physics nerdiness and the technological wilderness of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. I decided my goal for the summer is just to not forget all the cultural stuff I already know, because I'm definitely not going to be making any big cultural discoveries about anything except the top quark this summer. Not for lack of trying -- Intonation Festival, Lollapalooza, a world music festival this weekend, flavorpill's awesome newsletters, a major urban center under an hour away...but only so much can be expected when even your summer fling is science themed (best story EVER, by the way -- call/email for details).
I am doing nothing tonight and hopefully finally recovering a sense of life. I have been so tired for pretty much no reason for weeks, so I'm going to bed super super early and hopefully finally getting back on track.
