Tango is ok! It wasn't his kidney's after all! Turns out, he had a bladder infection. When the blood work came back, it showed that his kidney values were a little bit better than what they were back in January, rather than them being worse. Oh, God, I can't tell you how relieved and how thankful I am for this. There are no words to desribe my emotions.
Paul Newman passed on. I'm so sad about this, but I've been worried ever since they started saying he wasn't doing well. I've been checking weekly to see if there's any new report, and today, it finally hit. He was a great man, but I can't help thinking about what my mom said about him. he use to race his cars out here, and she said he was never very friendly. I still think he was an amazing man, and my sympathies are with JoAnne and his family right now.
I used power tools today. This is a huge accomplishment for me. so much so, that my dad actually did a spit take when he heard about it. It's a huge deal heh.
Tomorrow I'm going to see RENT's final Broadway performance on the big screen. I expect to bawl. I did when I saw it in New York. And I'm so grateful I got to see it there. I still can't believe it's not running anymore. It's such a wonderful, moving show. It has it's flaws, of course, but it fills me with energy and renewed hope.
