So. Pokemon Soul Silver.
Man, this game is addicting! xD I like it more than Platinum, simply based on the mechanics of it [running shoes always on? Two key items that can be registered instead of one? I'm already sold haha~], and I'm finally getting into the GTS. I never really bothered with it before, but I decided to check it out. I was able to trade my Vulpix for a Growlith, so that's pretty cool. I'm still working on getting some more [Totadile, for instance... I only have a Cyndaquil but no one seems to want to trade. xD A friend is giving me a Chikorita later, so maybe I can breed that and get a Totadile for it? Everyone seems to want Chikorita! xD]
I just wish you could look for pokemon you haven't seen. Some aren't on SS and I can't look for them as I haven't run into anyone with a HG-only pokemon yet [other than Growlith and Mankey] so it's kind of annoying... I'm working on getting a Bulbasaur and hopefully I'll find someone to trade me a Charmander and Squirtle too, even if just to breed it and give it back.
Oh, and people clogging up the GTS is annoying. I get that some people are cloning and thus asking for insane or impossible offers, but a level 17 Spearrow is not worth cloning, so stop asking for a Mew or other legendary pokemon for it, people. >:| [I kind of want to try cloning one or two of mine but I'm too chicken shit and nervous about losing everything to do it haha~]
Oh, and I've gotten my ~first ever~ shiny pokemon. I've never even run into one before but randomly came across a Bellsprout that EMITTED SPARKLES [it's pretty lulzy, really] so I caught it. I finally have one haha~ [red Gyrados kind of doesn't count; everyone runs into her.]
So yeah, so far I'm loving this game and despite all it's faults the GTS is pretty cool, though I do hope to find other people to trade with for pokemon I haven't seen.
[Speaking of which, if anyone reading wants to trade let me know! I have a boy and girl Eevee, so I can get you as many Eevees as you'd like, and I can toss them over to my Platinum to get Leafeon and Glaceon too. And I have a ditto, so if anyone wants a Cyndaquil or Chikorita when I get one let me know~ I really don't have many cool pokemon so yeah... dunno what I could offer, really. I have some like Meowth, Ledyba, and Vulpix that iirc are SS-only, so if anyone has any HG-only pokemon they'd be willing to trade then I'm up for it. :) Just thought I'd throw that out there~ xD]
