Timely throat tickle

My body has this remarkable ability to know when it can afford to get sick, and from talking to others it seems I'm not nearly the only one. What's particularly incredible about it is not only its punctuality, but also the fact that it accomplishes this without my conscious help. I woke up with a tickle in my throat this morning, the day after my last important engagement for the next couple of weeks, a fact I didn't even realize until I thought about it today. It's an awfully convenient thing, really, and I'm thankful my body is so helpful. (100)
