New name, new call for submissions!
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
This will be the first issue of Milk and Blackberries - a literary and art zine from the perspective of mothers.
Milk and Blackberries is about the creative lives of women - mothers specifically - about art within our daily lives and beyond.
Submit: essays/creative non-fiction, interviews, reviews, artwork, and photography. Also, specific pieces relating to what you do and how you make time for it. (A small percentage of poetry and fiction will also be considered.)
Specific needs/general themes for the first issue:
*the garden: art in the garden/gardening as art
*summertime
Please send text submissions in the body of an email - there is currently no word count limit. Black/white or color photos and artwork can be emailed as an attachment, images should be in jpeg format - between 200-500 KB, or 8-12 inch dimensions. Submissions can also be mailed through the postal service, please email me for the address.
