So obviously I was in a bit of a mood for my last two posts. I spent some time last night with a good girlfriend and reminded myself that I have a life outside of my relationship. Thanks for all the great info. If I had more time right now I would respond to more of it, but the last part really hits home right about now. We are getting ready to go out and Adam completely lost confidence in the last hour. We are both hurting right now. I feel I have pushed him too hard. Thats all for now

Oh, one more thing. Not all trans women have an unrealistic idea of what it's like to live as female, although it's not that uncommon for them to go through a phase early-transition or pre-transition when they go overboard with the stereotypical femininity thing, kind of overcompensating for having had to act like guys for years and years. One of the happiest memories I have is of watching my girlfriend admiring herself in the mirror the first time she wore her new boobies! It made me feel so good, because she had told me that in her teens she would wake up, see a boy's face in the mirror, and be so depressed she couldn't leave her room. I have to laugh just a little at the last part of this comment, because Adam knows WAY more about make-up and clothing than I do. He already has a full wardrobe of womens clothing, and has had silicon boobs and a fake butt and hips for years... Part of the reason I want to take him out is because he has already been doing all the other fun stuff at home for many many years, and there is NOTHING I can teach him!
