Prowl, Prowler, Prowlie?
This has been nagging me for a while, so please bear with me. It's only a little question, not a huge issue, but...
Ok, there have been so many fics that have Jazz using a nickname for Prowl, I was just wondering if any of them are canon or not? Is Jazz's use of nicknames even canon? (I don't have the DVDs, though I have 'em on a wish list, or I'd check myself.) Would he really use a nickname for a superior officer? Yeah, sure, it's cute to do and all, especially for a J/P fic, but is there any basis for it?
With a name like 'Prowl', I imagine Jazz would have a ton of fun just by saying it different ways, and I can see him using 'Prowler', but I've also seen 'Prowlie', which I just.. cannot see at all. To me it sounds like something you'd call a pet.
