(no subject)
This weekend has been nice and restful. I haven't accomplished as much as I should have, but the relaxation has been amazing. Other than laying around, I got to hang out with Dee on Saturday. We made 12 batches of rock candy with my mom, and all day project. It was just perfect to have a just us girls day.
I did some school work this week, some planning and paper grading, and I also got to finish a book (Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult--a really great read). The only thing missing from my perfectly lazy weekend was Scott. He's visiting his sister in Florida, and I just can't wait until he comes home tomorrow. :)
In one week winter break begins and things start moving full force. Squeezing in both families, all of our friends, and some together time is going to be more difficult with Scott working during the holidays this year. Unfortunately, his new job only gives him Christmas and New Year's Day off, which is kind of a bummer. Not to complain, because he has a job (a great job) but I do wish he'd have some more time to relax and enjoy the holidays. He deserves it. :)
Then January becomes the biggest month yet: moving month! :) Yep, we are officially moving at the end of the month. I'm already stressing about all the things to be accomplished, but I'm so excited and ready for the next step! More details to come.
