I think I prefer being a guinea pig to donating blood. I mean, for one, I get paid to take drugs. Two, this Red Cross needle actually hurt, even when she took it out. odd
Although it's nice to know that losing a pint didn't make me fall over. Let's not discuss taking a pint... ;)
The observation of the day was made by the Spanish teacher; even though the Red Cross now accepts 16-year old donors, the pool of student donors was seriously reduced, due to tattoos and piercings gotten in the last 12 months. Not your usual sort of social commentary, I'm sure.
