1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Graduate from college. Get a full-time job. Get fired from a full-time job. And various escapades.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I probably resolved to lose weight, so not really.

3. Did someone close to you give birth?
My cousin's wife. We're not super-close, but the baby is adorable.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.

5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A fulfilling job.

7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
No dates as such, but a few events will stick with me.

8. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Finishing that damn paper that stood between me and my degree.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Getting fired. Oh, and having to write that damn paper that stood between me and my degree.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing worth writing home about.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I don't know. I waste money a lot.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Most of my friends. :0)

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The Tea Party, and at least half of Washington.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Random stuff.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The new job and moving out. HA.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2010?
Sting, "Fields of Gold", though it also reminds me of high school. R.E.M., "At My Most Beautiful", though it also reminds me of Cornell.

I. Happier or sadder?: Happier.

III. Richer or poorer?: WE NEED A GLORIOUS COMMUNIST REVOLUTION I mean, I remain poor.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing and reading.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Loafing. Screwing up.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my family and some of our friends. It'll be nice.

21. What was your favorite month of 2010?
Probably December, actually.

22. Did you fall in love in 2010?
Difficult question, so I'm skipping it.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Doctor Who. This is a question?

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hm. Some political figures I didn't know about last year I hate now.

26. What was the best book you read?
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, definitely.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I'm not sure I made one. I'm very boring.

28. What did you want and get?
People.

29. What did you want and not get?
My own apartment.

30. Favorite film of this year?
Toy Story 3

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 26 while interning with the Cape Cod Theatre Project. They had a little party for me, and I had dinner with family and friends at my favorite Mexican joint. It was a good day.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Keeping that job.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Dyke to watch out for. Well, probably not quite that cool.

34. What kept you sane?
My family and friends.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Usual suspects: Cillian Murphy, Christopher Eccleston, and David Tennant.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

Friends from Cornell.

I usually refuse to answer this question, but Sam.

Adulthood is the kingdom where nobody cares.
