Lovable pest.

I'm getting internet in the living room right now, which only happens once in a blue moon, since something's wrong with my wireless antenna. Therefore, I must write in my lj.

So, my classes are going well. At least, mostly. I wrote a fairly miserable one-page paper for my Victorian novel class, because I didn't really understand the assignment or the essay. Jane Eyre I understand quite well, but that's not enough when you're studying narrative.

Mom went to the first dog training class for Rosco today, which actually required that she leave Rosco here. The facility requires that the first class be just for the dog owners, so that they can share their concerns and goals, and most likely be sold training products. Anyway, I came back from class as speedily as I could to look after him while she was gone (we don't trust him home alone yet). He was in his crate for all of five minutes between Mom's departure and my arrival, which upset him greatly. He kept saying he needed to go out, then trying to drag me around to the front yard so that he could look for Mom's car. This was really getting on my nerves by the third time it happened, and I wound up closing off the lower floor with the backyard exit, as well as all the doors upstairs, to sort of force him to hang out in the living room with me. He eventually calmed down and fell asleep next to me until Mom got home; then he woke up long enough to move over and fall asleep on her. Good dog.
