Whee travel!
Talitha and I are going to Ithaca this weekend! We'll get to go to Masquerave! Masquerave is Risley's big Halloween party. Dancing and themed rooms (one of which I've already been drafted into helping construct) and, of course, lots of really awesome costumes. I'm going as Mrs. Lovett from "Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street," because Grace and I have been planning on being Todd and Lovett for ages, so even though she won't be at Masquerave I still want to keep the faith. I had few scheduled obligations today, so I mostly did homework and worked on my costume. Today I found a plain white apron (surprisingly difficult), and proceeded to soak it in watered-down coffee for that more sort of used and canvas-like look. I've found two skirts to layer, and I know how to do my hair. The shirt is really what's stymying me. I'll figure it out, though. I'm really looking forward to partying and seeing my friends.
