It's too cold to post deep think-y thoughts about TV shows I love. For that I direct you to Ro's
interesting thoughts about Entourage season 6 because I just want to say a giant WORD to it all (beware, spoilers up to season finale).
But I have watched Greek 3.06
Thank you show for providing me once again with Evan/Cappie/Casey wonderfulness. No matter how you cut it, the three of them have such great chemistry with each other. I love that all their relationships are slowly mending, and I look forward to many many more moments of Cappie and Evan sneaking around being secret friends, and Cappie and Casey trying to fight the fact they really like each other, and Evan atoning for being awful to Casey. \o/
(However, I also think Lana is smoking hot, and I'd like to see more of her snarky dynamic with Cappie!)
When the episode focussed on Rusty and Jordan I spent most of it thinking "Shut up, Rusty." Sure it's in character, but Rusty's self-obsessed faux altruism annoys me, and that makes me sad because I *like* Rusty, usually. I haven't known what to make of the Rusty/Jordan relationship all through, and I'm kind of glad that they're giving it a rest (though I guess now we'll have a few eps of mopey Rusty again, sigh). The Stephen Hawkings role playing was hilarious(ly horrifying) though. :)
Even the ZBZ plotline delivered in the end. The oldest ZBZ and her impassioned rambling, "Sisters before misters!"; and then Pussy Willow in the fire, the only acceptable ending to the sapfest :DDDDDDDDDDD
And best of all, bringing Ashleigh and Rebecca back together again. My slasher self likes the scene for the subtext - Rebecca kissed Fisher not because she was jealous of Ashleigh, but of Fisher and how he'd taken Ash from her - but I love the scene mostly for Rebecca's self-awareness and her sad matter-of-fact attitude about it, and the fact the scene mirrors the one where they first became friends, sitting on the couch sharing chips. :)
I even like that last scene, the photo still. It's sad because oh, Rusty. His heart is so on his sleeve it hurts. But it's a perfectly in character moment.
I really really hope Greek is a Yuletide fandom still this year, because I would definitely request anything gen/slash/het between any and all of the characters. I <3 this show so much!
