MCU AU Letter
Dear MCU AU creator,
First of all, thanks so much for writing/drawing for me! I'm generally very unpicky and will undoubtedly be delighted with anything you create! In general, I would prefer no non/dub-con or D/s. Otherwise, go wild! I've written a little here about all my requests, and I'd like it if the non-fusion AUs were kept in canon-verse, but if you already have a particular idea, go for it!
Jarvis & Tony Stark - Fic
I adore Jarvis and Tony's friendship to bits and I'd love more of it! Jarvis's loyalty to his creator, the way Tony can open up to Jarvis because he trusts him implicitly - I'd love to see how you translate this across AUs! Also, I requested/nommed the friendship version, but if you'd like to go in a shippy direction, feel free.
Imperial Radch - I initially thought Jarvis might be a ship in this 'verse, but I'd love to see where you slotted in Jarvis&Tony - is Tony Jarvis's favourite captain, or his creator (perhaps outside the Radch?), or just a favoured crew member/human ancillary? Does Jarvis have ancillaries and use them to 'look after' Tony the way ships do, or is this post-series where ships are already recognised as a species and Tony and Jarvis have to work out their new boundaries? Also, feel free to go for the Raadchai gender-neutral pronoun ('she'/'her') if it suits!
Post-Apocalypse Survival - I'm such a fan of post-apocalypse AUs and I would love to see where you'd take this! Is Jarvis affected or reduced in his capacity after the apocalypse, and are he and Tony trying to get him back to working function? Is Tony the one who's suddenly lost all his resources and needs to rely on Jarvis for help? I'd also love to see how they go by their new day-to-day - what are their goals (other than survival)? Did anyone else survive?
Soulbonds - I just love the idea of soulbonds with an AI involved - how does it work? Jarvis learning to be human, Tony realising how much Jarvis's grown - all of it, really. Is this an extremis-type AU where Tony can connect to all tech, or just between the two of them? Are they looking to solve it, or are they happy with it as it is?
Cyborg or Android Character(s) - Is Tony the cyborg who made an AI, or did he make Jarvis a body? How do they deal with the new change, or is it something that they're already used to? What happens when it's revealed their not a human?
Mirror Universe - I am such a sucker for mirror!AUs and would love to see Tony and Jarvis here. Are they still friends, as creator and creation, or do they run a semi-antagonistic relationship with Tony holding Jarvis's leash while Jarvis plots in the background? I would love to see them working together to reach a goal or how being 'evil' changes their trust in each other.
Time Loop/Groundhog Day - Who's stuck in the loop? Are they both stuck? I would love if Tony needed Jarvis's help to fix it, or if something was affecting reality itself and only Jarvis remembered - would Jarvis try to solve it himself at first, or entrust Tony with the knowledge?
Pacific Rim/Jaegers - I'd adore anything in a Jaeger pilot AU - is Jarvis still an AI here, or just a person? Did Tony still create him (perhaps to be a drift-compatible pilot)? How do they relate to one another, and how do they find each other? What do people think of them?
Bruce Banner/Pepper Potts/Tony Stark - Fic
I absolutely adore this threesome - Bruce and Tony bonding over science, the steadiness of Pepper in the relationship helping keep him there without the crash and burn, and I'd adore anything with these three.
A/B/O - I adore A/B/O, particularly with threesomes - what configurations are they, and how do they work? I've DNW'd D/s above but here I don't mind some, if in relation to the A/O relationship - is Pepper the one running the show? Are any of them omega, or do they have a non-traditional bond?
Daemons - What are their daemons? How do they deal with them while superheroing? I'd love it if you went non-traditional (i.e. Bruce's daemon changes when he turns into the Hulk, or something) or explored the touching-daemons, daemons getting comfortable with each other as they all get to know each other.
Soulbonds/Soulmate-Identifying Marks/Soulmates - All really the same, but I adore soulmates forever. I'm assuming here that Tony and Pepper find each other first, but do they know they're missing Bruce? I love marks and unusual soulmate happenings - is it touch, or bonds, or colour coming into the world? Does Bruce meet Tony at some conference years before and bail out, only to run into Tony again during Avengers?
Star Wars - Anything at all! Is Tony a pilot or engineer? What do Bruce and Pepper do? How do they all meet? Is Bruce maybe Force-sensitive; struggling with anger all the time makes it likely he's halfway to being a Sith; is Pepper a Jedi trying to bring him back to the fold? I'd adore the SW universe during any time period you like, though I'm not that familiar with the EU.
Mirror Universe - How are they 'evil' in the mirror!verse? Can Bruce control the Hulk? Are they working together toward a goal or are they at odds, just getting their kicks from playing each other?
Pepper Kept Extremis - I would adore this AU so much if Pepper got the chance to use it somewhere - is she kidnapped as a liability, or does she have to go rescue Tony or Bruce? Does she end up joining the team, or do they keep it quiet just in case?
Time Loop/Groundhog Day - Who's stuck in the loop, or is it all three of them? Do they grow closer over the course of it, or is it something where they need to solve some other problem? Does the person realise immediately what the problem is, and go to the other two for help?
Tony Didn't Return Before the Portal Closed - I'd adore this if it focused on Pepper and Bruce back on the ground - is Tony dead in this AU? Were they together beforehand, or was it just a possibility? If Tony isn't dead, how do they deal with him when he comes back?
Prisoner(s)/Test Subject(s) of SHIELD - Who's captured? It seems easy to make it Bruce, but Tony could also be the one who went too far, particularly if he dug up Hydra's involvement, or even Pepper if she dug up secrets or had Extremis in reserve; how do the other two deal with it? Do they know someone's been taken beforehand, or do they only find out after they've been missing for far too long? I'd adore the h/c after rescue, too.
James "Bucky" Barnes/Tony Stark - Fic, Art
I love the idea of these two - Tony's irreverence breaking through to Bucky's less-traumatised self, or the antagonistic almost-enemies vibe they might have. For art, I generally adore cuddles/domesticity/comfortableness, Tony working on Bucky's arm (in whatever 'verse), or alternatively, both of them at each other's throats.
Angels & Demons - I adore the Good Omens-type AU where an angel and a demon are somewhat content to live on the same Earth without being at each other's throats - who's the angel, and who's the demon? Do they basically ignore each other normally, and are brought into conflict again over Steve? Does anyone find out?
Daemons - I just really love daemons, okay? I'd love the daemon-touching thing explored, or perhaps just Bucky's daemon being weirdly comfortable around Tony's, or one of their daemons becoming friends with the other human first.
Sentinels & Guides - I only really know the fanon-verse from this, sorry! Pick whoever you like to be the sentinel and guide - is there a government regulatory system in place? Is Bucky still the WS in this 'verse, and has to deal with his new senses/sentinel while he's recovering while Tony's just been happy living his life before, and doesn't know how to deal with a partner? What are their spirit animals?
Soulbonds/Soulmates - In the same vein, how do they deal with being soulmates/soulbonded? Is this something they were born with - has Tony been having dreams of ice and murdering his parents, or is it something more innocuous like words or colours? Did Tony run into Bucky while he was on a mission before another mind-wipe? Did Bucky think he would never meet his soulmate, or he didn't have one? Use whatever soulmate 'verse you like!
Steampunk - Absolutely go wild here - do the Avengers still exist? Was Bucky still cryo-frozen and brainwashed, or is he just the friend of a colleague that has a bionic/mechanical arm? I assume Tony's still an engineer in this 'verse - do they meet when Bucky's looking for a replacement or a fix?
Bucky Rescued/Escaped Differently - If Bucky got out differently, how would he end up with Tony? I'd love exploration of Bucky trying to deal with slowly recovering himself, or with Tony's somewhat dubious guidance; did Tony accidentally stumble across Bucky and rescue him, or did Bucky find himself after a mission and go a bit wild? Did Tony recognise who he was, or does he only find that out later?
Time Travel - I'd adore time travel with Tony going back to the '40s, dealing with/falling for Bucky back then even if he hates or is indifferent to the one in the future - or Bucky in the past shoved directly into Tony and Bucky's future awkward relationship and trying to fix it somehow. Is it an accident or a mistake or are they trying to accomplish something?

I'd also love it if you transplanted Bucky killing Tony's parents, if it fits; how does Tony deal with it in an AU 'verse?
