someday, I shall catch up on sleep.
GenCon was a blast, I'm still catching up on sleep and cleaning, and I am running around frantically trying to feel on top of things before the semester starts (kinda silly, since I'm not taking or teaching classes this semester but it still feels like I'm operating on that schedule!)... so yeah.
Will try to post with pics and anecdotes, but first I need to buckle down and chart out some new research goals for my dissertation. I'm at the point where I have read a lot of things that are important for the main theoretical frame of my diss, and I've got a pile of books that will most likely turn out to be not-so-central but I need to at least glance at them before deciding whether to read them now or save them for later when they'll be footnote fodder. I suspect that I'm running a little behind schedule but I won't know til I sit down my with fairy-tale texts to take some notes and start coming up with a chapter outline.
Also, half-marathon training starts soon! And I need to find some new things to do with my sourdough starter! Good times...
