I'm a bit confused.
I got this call from Bridget where she laughingly told me this hi-LARIOUS story about this party at Brian's place. Brian made jello shots, just not in shot glasses but in a bowl, she told me. And Lena had the entire bowl. It was so funny! Everyone was cracking up! And then she made out with this guy we'd met about four or five days before while her boyfriend/fiance/thing is in the middle of the Pacific! She saw them and omg it was so funny!
Except for the part where it's not. Any of it. A whole bowl? Of jello shots? Especially with that ass-nasty vodka that Brian uses (Skoll, which you should never, ever drink; trust a bartender on this one)? And... she didn't pass out or need to go to the hospital, especially with her tolerance or lack thereof as she doesn't drink alcohol? And you LET HER and call yourself her best friend?!
No, it's really not funny.
Plus you WATCHED her make out with some stranger and knew how bad she stressed herself out last summer about not telling some guy at a club that went on to try and hook up with her that she didn't have a boyfriend? What? I'm sorry, what?!
So a couple days later I texted Lena asking her about it. According to her she had "less than half a plate" of runny, melty jello and it maybe equalled two shots. Also, she didn't make out with Random Guy. At all.
So I ask Bridget what the hell, and she changes her story a few times before settling on 'It was made in a tupperware bowl and that only came out to half a plate, duh, I told you that! And I was mistaken, I didn't see them make out, but I thought they did.'
I was lied to, in so many words. What.
