It's been a while. My monthly resolution is to be more devoted to my LJ and my flist.
Finished bartending school a couple weeks ago and have already applied for a job at a bar downtown. It's part of a hotel, but the bar manager likes to keep it separate. Ryan (the bar manager) is a really cool guy. He's honest and straightforward, and when I say honest I mean blunt. He likes to swear (much like me) and the first thing I found out about him is that he doesn't like sugarcoating. He'll give it straight. I already liked him as soon as I found out.
So the job. It's part-time nights. I'd be working three or four days a week, from 4pm-midnight. I'm also looking for another job that'll be a dayshift. Part-time again. Looking for a bartending job is pretty fun. :) There's an opening at a restaurant down the street, so I'm going there today to inquire as to an application.
Stuff has gone down with Bridget and Lena AGAIN, but I'll write about that later because it's long and angry and drawn out. Plus I need a shower.
But I can say that Juan and I are looking for a puppy to take with us to Alabama and have found two so far. We're trying to make a choice now. There's also an adorable Maltese puppy that my sister Elena found for me on Facebook Marketplace, but it's $475 and that is mad expensive. At least for the first puppy we found, it's only $150. Here are the links for the two of them so you can insert your $0.02:

Well, until later.
