(no subject)
I'm on spring break!!!! =D
I'm in Stafford right now, but I'll be driving down to GC monday night...so I'll see some of you at school on Tuesday =)
I have 8 pages of paper (3 for lit, 5 for his) due the day I get back, though. Uuuuuuuuuugh. I also have 14 logic problems that are seriously, SERIOUSLY kicking my butt.
I still haven't decided on a minor yet! History, Early Childhood Ed...? I DON'T KNOW.
I'm getting my cell # changed today--our phones still have an 843 area code and it's long distance to call each other from the house, haha.
Random.
I got a 97 on my History of the Holocaust midterm!!!!! My 5 days of studying paid off. =) I was literally running to tell Rachel (my roomie!) when I found out, I was so excited.
I'm glad I'm an English major. Lainy and I were talking and Mrs. O really did prepare us so well for college...I'm always surprised at how much people don't know and it makes me all the more grateful for her. I'm coming down for her memorial service on the 24th...I'm wondering if this is an all-black type thing? I laugh whenever I think about the color symbolism and how everyone should show up with a little bit of something extra--a green necklace, white headband--just to do Mrs. O poetic justice. =) I think at some point I'm going to go back and read Heart of Darkness just for her...she always went on and on about that book and I never got all the way through it. She was so great! I definately still miss her, but I'm not sad anymore when I think about her...just happy that God let her have us for so long <3 I think I'm going to leave her a note on her door when I come visit SHS.
