Poll Take my money, my cigarettes/I haven't seen the worst of it yetAnd how many books is it appropriate to bring? I've spoken to some of you crazy people who are bringing THREE CRATES of books (wow) and I swore that I was bringing no more than ten because I'll have text books and an entire city full of used bookstores at my disposal, but now that I'm packing my stack of books that I can't imagine living without ( Read more... )

twenty-five books??!! insanity. i had a feeling our classmates were taking a shitload of books. haha. im taking five (i think), and this includes the books im taking to read on my flight. chicago has the best bookstores ever i hear, so why take books from home to school? its ironic. we have enough reading assignments for our classes im assuming.

haha. ask me about shit you think youre forgetting. i rewrote and revised my things to pack list about seven times. dont forget the small necessities. like nail clippers and batteries. haha. and as for shoes, im taking seven pairs if i remember correctly. i tried to pack extremely lightly. difficult task, indeed. are you taking a lot of clothes? im not too sure if i should bring my entire wardrobe or not.

i keep hearing about this doorstop we palevskyers need. hmm. wont a shoe do?

I own ... maybe five thing on that list.

I cannot drive you around. I will be a first-year and cannot have a car. You should know this. But Amanda will have a car! Hit her up for rides; I'm planning to whore myself to her in any and every way she likes for rides.

But I don't think I can wear her shoes. Her feet are smaller than mine.

I DO have a neat flag that you will see when I drag you to see my dorm room. Ua ha ha.

I have already purchased notecards. They're good for making frogs that hop, too.

I canNOT exchange my books. No no no. I would sooner exchange my children or my internal organs.

What's a tamogatchi?

AOL is temporarilly unavailable. I was saying that some advisors are helpful and some aren't. And it depends on how demanding/forgiving you are. You're gonna have to advise yourself and get advice from other students to be honest. The advisor, my varying reports tell me, either help you to make your dreams come true or do everything in their power to make your life a living hell and sign you up for classes that don't exist.
