Teh Weekendzor.

Well, the weekend went well.
Friday was Requiem.  The only frustrating point for me for the night was an overwhelming NPC plot.  It took away players from the game to make them antagonists, and I would have much rather have played with/against them as their characters.   Players, when playing NPCS, have little issue with their 'characters' dying, which means they take chances that normal players would not.  Having a pack of ST created NPC's taking over the game tends to make me twitch some.  The game went well, though, so most of my fears about the NPCs never came to fruition.  The plotline isn't done yet, so we'll see.

Saturday I spent some time hanging with my son, playing some games.  He hurt his foot, so we hunt out and played some Magic.  Later that night I went to Denver with some friends for another Requiem game.  Honestly, driving all that distance to play with the same people I play with down here didn't make me very happy.  Of course, when the meeting we were there for was interrupted by the unstoppable NPC monster, it meant my entire night was for naught.  Well, not really for NAUGHT.  I did have some rather aggravating rp with a player that I really like.  He decided that I was doing something just to screw him, and nothing I said or did could convince him otherwise.  Sometimes I wonder if I have the actual charisma to play a character with as much presence as Christophe.

Sunday we went hiking with Jennie, and we went up seven bridges.  Quickly.  Even with the puppy slowing us down, we did it almost twice as fast as the first time Jennie and I tackled it.  We spent a good long time sitting at the stream at the seventh bridge, splashing in the water and sitting in the sun, and it was an amazing amount of fun.  Watched Sunday night shows with elf, and the weekend sort of made itself.  Loves me a Jennie, Loves me an elf, made good for some aggravation, came to Monday all refreshed.

That's about it.  Hope your weekends went well!

Paix!
