It isn't often that I seriously consider my life. I don't do it very much because whenever I do, I don't seem to like where it is going. This is another one of those instances, but I come away now with more insight as to where I want to go ( Read more... )

Moving on is necessary. If you say that youth is bountiful and there is time to wait, you will find yourself old and entrenched.

I'm going through a similar where-the-fark-do-I-go-now phase.

I'm 22 and I want something big out of my life, but the waiting game is insufferable.

Weren't we starting a Jethro Tull cover band? Isn't THAT enough direction?

I think you need to get out of Oneonta. You need an environment of stimulation and opportunity, and not just in your crotch!

You are at very least my equal, thus you should be able to accomplish lotsof things.

But one of the greatest things to learn, I think, is to have faith in yourself. No one really has a direction that they have much control over. We must live with the life we have. Therefore, the only thing you could do is have faith in your abilities, the goodness of the world, and your luck, that things will work out to be positive. Just have faith that you will succede and don't sweat the shit.
