Home sweet home!
Oh my god. I have never been so happy to be in Rhode Island. For those of you who are either morons or didn't read my last livejournal entry, I've been in Maine since last Friday. Grazie to Travis for leaving the welcome home message; it was greatly appreciated. For those of you who don't appreciate what I went through this week, let me elaborate: I had no computer, no friends, no one even CLOSE to my age, one TV channel, beetles the size of old cell phones, more mosquitoes than people, only $75, and a lake I couldn't swim in due to the enormous snapping turtle living under our dock. However, on the bright side, I was able to go canoeing and fishing, as well as being able to shop, read, sleep late, relax, throw darts at a deer head mounted on the wall, spend some time with family that I don't live with, and get a TAN. Oh yes, I am no longer Travis-pale...no offense intended, love. I bought "Buddha in a Box" and a really cute skirt, as well as various articles of jewelry including a ring that turns my fingers blue...fun!
I am DYING to go to the mall again. Anyone in for sometime in the near future? I hope so, because I don't want to be locked in the hosue for the whole week. Someone, save me already, please!!
Ok, back to Maine. I was completely unable to sleep on Friday night, due to a recurring nightmare I've been having for three years now. I won't describe the dream, but I will say it involves a man I didn't think existed until I saw him on TV the other day. He was arrested after trying to cross the border from Canada by hacking through the woods with a bloody chainsaw. If you really want to know the dream, ask me on AIM and maybe I'll tell you. Just don't expect an answer here.
Ok, it's very late now, so I'm going to bed. Don't know if I'll sleep, but who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky.
