What a weird day yesterday was. There was no contact from HQ, at all. There was no "take care, it was nice working with you" no "best wishes" no "goodbye" no nothing. No one at HQ over the last 6 weeks of my notice being given even said anything about my leaving, at all. So, yesterday should have been expected, I guess. But, I walked out of there as I had every other day, as if I would be returning again to work later in the week. Thankfully, I'm not.
I was offered a job at an incredible optician's office, and took the job. Yesterday, I was also offered the other job I had interviewed for. Now I have to turn it down, which is... well, I guess a nice place to find yourself, really. In that I don't have to scramble to get a job, I get to choose which job I want. I start work with them next monday, and my BEEEEAUUUUTIFUL frames came in this monday, and I love them. You fellow 4-eyes should stop by the shop and see what we carry. I'd probably never be able to afford any of the frames we carry, but, they are works of art just to admire.
I know it's not a long update, but, it's an update nonetheless. Now I'm off to breakfast with my mom and sister.
