I also feel the same way you feel. I actually like to take a step back and say that she started to slowly unravel that day at the window. You could tell she was really bothered by Kate being back hence her almost burning the bacon. LOL. She was asking him about all of them returning but in her mind she was really asking "Ok, so do you still love me or do you want to be with Kate". Sawyer was clueless just like he was when he took her hand. I hate that they never really gave him a voice due to the alarm sounding and then when she kept cutting him off in the jungle. Part of me was really upset with James because I wanted him to tell her "No, we are NOT breaking up. We are going back to the beach with Rose and Bernard. Fucks them". LOL
