something about it

There's something about May 30th, what is it? Not a national holiday, no one died on this day (that I care about), I know Kris Hartrum's b-day is today but I already wrote the email to get that out of my mind. Hmm. What could it be? May 30th. Geez. Oh well, I guess another dull gray day in Dumpsville will have to settle as the latest.

Haha. All the rubbing off of negativity from my roommates has affected me. Usually the other way around. Nice.

:)

Gonna call my sister later and see who she has gotten involved in her latest Barnyard Tale (ie.which farmhand has sold which bag of crack to which farmhand, who's got stabbed in a fight over who's horse's tail is prettier, etc.)

I watched the first Die Hard last night, and boy did it die hard. Action movies astound me. Bloodied German Bad Guy gets strung up off a beam with a chain link rope, hangs for appox. half and hour (running movie time), bomb erupts in building, edifices crash to ground, hero arrives outside to his (of course) touching reunion with underdog cop who really knew all 'The Tricks' to dealing with a massive terrorist attack yet was kept under thumb by egotystical boss, ONLY to find hero threatened once again by mean man German terrorist dude who comes limping thru the crowds with an active machine gun;no doubt a bit distressed-what with finding a way to untie himself, navigate thru an impressive smoking pile of rubble and remain unseen by the SCORES of PO POs (assumingly in celebratory off duty exaltation, thus unaware of the encroachment).

Of course, the underrated cop finally, gloriously gets to whip his resting pistol from its pocket and save the day (and his newly found butt buddy's ass) and watch while a bloodied Bruce Willis lowers himself into a limo with his wife, of whom his passion, love& fidelity have been rekindled thru the simple crisis of a 30 level building assault.

Touching, really. Realistic, definately.
