Always care about your flowers and your friends. Otherwise they'll fade, and soon your house will be empty
Angel sat at the kitchen table in the new house they’d bought with a pen in her hand and a piece of paper before her. Softly she tapped the end of the pen against the table as she began to try and think of the people she could invite to the wedding to sit at her side of the church. The only family she had was her father and he would be walking her down the aisle. Both her mother and Nan were dead and she had no other family. She then thought of her friends, those she’d not seen in a long time is felt..
Ti. Sweet, kind Ti who she missed talking to and she often wondered what had happened to her and if she was well and how her daughter was getting along. And then there was Logan, Wolverine, a strong influence in her life. A man she had once feared because of the dreams Ms Frost had implanted into her mind, but he had been a guiding lift for her when she had first been given the Hellions’ to train.
Remy, charming Remy who had been able to make her blush so easily, not that it was a hard thing to do, but he’d looked out for her and helped her with the Hellions when she needed time away or help with a difficult exercise.
Then Bobby and Kitty, both sweet people who had found happiness in one another, people she hardly saw any more because she’d moved away from the School. Xavier, her guiding light and mentor since leaving the Massachusetts Academy, he’s helped her more times than she could even mention.
And now there was Zee, angel couldn’t help but smile at the thought of that woman. She was strong, sassy, fiery, stubborn and argumentative; all things that people would think are negative personality traits. Yet Angel wanted to spend more time with her, she wanted to get to know her better and learn how to have that kind of strength. Already Zee had helped her with things but she probably didn’t even realise it.
Looking down at her empty page Angel stood and decided it was a good idea to do something else. Maybe get people together and have a party, friends that they held dear to them, after all, if she didn’t touch base with them their friendship would wither and die.
