Something that kind of bothered me about "Mad Men" this week...
When Don was telling Megan that Betty may be seriously ill, Megan made some comment about being there for the kids, and Don told her, "This is not that kind of talk." Seriously, Don? I thought one of the reasons he was more partial to Megan as opposed to Faye last season was because Megan had more of a motherly instinct to her than Faye did. And he's going to tell Megan "it's not one of those kind of talks"? I may not be a big fan of hers, but is she a stepmother to Don's kids or just "wife number two"?
And I don't like that they're going that direction with Betty to cover up January Jones' pregnancy. She's fat because she may be ill? Bullshit. She's fat because she's unhappy with her non-perfect life and eats her feelings now. We saw her on the couch with that box of Bugles.
Oh, one last thing, and not really a spoiler. I hate the Francis's house. It's too big and dark and stuffy and formal-looking. I miss the Drapers' old house in Ossining.
