With every passing second, the world and all its contents continue to crumble. Wind the clock at a faster pace and watch the walls dissolve to dust; the sky part and clear in a matter of seconds; cars becoming a blur on a once paved road.
Nothing in this world is permanent. Take comfort in this truth. This ever eternal present truth which effects every single living and non-living being and object on this planet; in this universe. What is the universe? What is it composed of; how did it come into existence?
Every time an egoic manifestation of your mind attempts to influence your perception of this world, remember the indefinite mobility of life and its existence. Remember that the mind's petty issues cannot truly effect the inner truth of who you are, ever. Remember that above everything you feel and experience in this life: it is nothing more than a story; a materialization of your mind's representation of this world, for a short compilation of seventy to ninety years: an infinitesimal second in the ultimate expanse of time.
Does anything truly matter at all?
Maybe for a moment, under the stories and lies of what our minds mandate the world to be, in the eyes of another living being... we discover something familiar. In the innocence of a child or the smile of newborn; in the warm touch of an elder's palm or the welcoming embrace of a long lost sibling.
Perhaps the animating entity within us notices itself in other living beings. Perhaps this connection is what we call love. For one finite second in the expanse of this seemingly endless and barren universe, we reconnect to the inner essence of who we are as part of one greater animation.
