I got my stereo installed. Here's a picture of the tweeter I had to cut up my door to install. Started out not sounding so good but after noise proofing it it's actually sounding quite nice. Especially jazz for some reason so I've been listening to a Vince Guaraldi mix CD I made a few christmases back (He did all the Charlie Brown cartoon music).

My landlord said I can't have a dog. I've become an expert on dog breeds after looking and looking at books and the net for the perfect one. I guess I should've asked him first. I've got 4 books if anyone wants them. I did see a beautiful cat at the humane society when I was there that I almost considered adopting even though I was looking for a cat and now that I am looking for one she's gone. Oh well. I think I'm going to get a different kind of cat this time (I've had a few over the years)... something a little more exotic. So far I'm thinking Siamese, Russian Blue, British Shorthair, Ocicat, Burmese, Tokinese, Chartreux, Ragdoll, or Havana. It depends what characteristics I decide I want. He/she has to be people oriented but I can't decide if I prefer docile over playful... quiet over insistent. Or just really beautiful like the Chartreux. I bet I'll just end up going to the pound and picking one out in the end. Here's Belle:

The guy at the quicki-mart has gone insane with the rare beers. Half the store is beer from around the world. But I guess I can have too much of a good thing. He talked me into buying $50 worth of German beers and I haven't had the urge to drink one in two months.

Japanese restaurant... finless eel on rice. Soooo good but it doesn't look so good does it?

I learned allot in my figure drawing class. This last one is a good example of my progress... parts are very right but I need practice... She's about half as wide as this but otherwise I'm proud of this one for the time alloted.

I went over to Eric and Darci's carve pumpkins with Eric's son Sage. Darci loves her cat "little". Not pictured is Eric's cat "Sonja" aka "Satan". It's such a strange cat. She's part Siamese but 75% evil. She rubs against your leg but if you pet her she'll pur, then hiss and scratch, then purr, then hiss and scratch and pee on you if you pick her up. Definitely a cat with a history. They're in Austin this weekend. They're thinking of moving there or back up to NYC (Tampa isn't exciting enough for them... but is it exciting enough for anyone?).

My digi-cam skillz at work: My picture of the lunar eclipse last night. If you look close you still won't see it.

Someone took my the Kerry sign out of my yard! Actually my sign is safely in the window but my landlord's was stolen this week. Strangely satisfying to be proven right... being forced into the moral high road. I have 3 extra signs So I put another one up but this time sprayed it down with water and dusted it with Cayenne Pepper. I figure it works to keep cats from scratching furniture it might "correct" a conservative as well since just a speck on the hand usually finds its way into the eye sooner or later especialy if it gets in their car. If either of my 2 conservative neighbors have scratchy eyes or are seen sponging out ther car tomorrow I'll know. =)

You'd think after a year of art classes even my 2 second sketchs of a pepper would be better than this.

I did a little canvasing for MoveOn for Kerry this week. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be really, in fact nice to see so many people think the way I do. I think I did it just so I feel like I have some control if Bush Jr gets elected again (I don't think he will though).
