Ahhhh
We had a wonderful weekend! None of us wanted to leave, lol. But leave we did, and are all back facing reality, blah.
B did very well, all things considered. The change in routine wasn't too upsetting, and he only had a couple of rough spots. But he played very well with Fee, and that was great. O had a blast, and loved being "big brother" to Fee. He was wired, but it was just from bliss. He would have stayed forever, heh. They both had fun playing in some snow yesterday. Good thing, since we've not had a good snow this year.
But the best thing was getting to see and spend time with my sis. Gah, i love her so freaking much. It just reminds me how important it is to have people in my life who i feel accepted by and comfortable with, even though they really know me. You know? No pretending or posturing, just being. It's a luxury. And there being a family out there that we can really relate to and mesh with, that's incredible too.
It was wonderful to spend time up there with them. And to get out of town too. i didn't realize how rejuvinating getting out of town can be. And i needed to get away from work as well, but that's a whole different entry for another time. Right now, i'm going to just bask in the warmth of a wonderful weekend. Sounds corny, and i just don't care!!
