Planned Parenthood, just to keep things consistent with the way they've done everything in this situation thus far, apparently used a for-profit front company, Gemini Office Development, LLC, instead of their non-profit baby-killing organization's name, Planned Parenthood, to apply for the building zoning permit.
This makes a difference because, according to Jill Stanek Extraordinare, "According to Aurora zoning ordinances, a special use permit requires public notice in a local paper and public hearings, and property owners nearby can raise objections to the use. If 20% object, a supermajority of the City Council (2/3) must approve the use...."
The feminists are quiet on this so far. I'll update you if that changes. Thus far, pro-choicers have been defending Planned Parenthood's conduct by saying that they were forced to keep the building a secret to prevent anti-choice nut bags like 90 year-old Mrs. O'Brian from praying the rosary in front of a clinic, presumably before setting it ablaze. Now, with these kinds of details coming out, it seems as if the integrity of the baby-killing organization is being brought into question.
