My year of living wherever
In 2013, I've "lived" in more places than in any previous year of my life:
Jan 1 - Mar 15: Long Island City with Bethany and Sharon
Mar 15 - Oct 16: Bayside with Elmer and Mabel
Oct 16 - Nov 27: Hackensack with Lindsay, Leslie, Penny, and Sophie
Nov 27 - Dec 2ish: Commack with Mom, Dad, Elmer, and Mabel
Dec 2ish - Dec 4ish: Astoria with Christian
Dec 4ish - Dec 13ish: Back to Bayside but without kitties
Dec 13ish - Dec 31: Brooklyn with Elmer and Mabel
The fact that I am actually putting my trust in dates shows that I have learned nothing from history, but my confidence in the "ish" part of this schedule comes from my sister's sheer will in deciding that she is moving to Bayside on 12/13 come hell or high water.
I will celebrate when I am firmly planted in Brooklyn, and not before.
