We Make Our Own Destination
....The Boston Red Sox have won the World Series. No joke. No longer will Sox fans have to put up with "1918" from Yankee fans, people making fun, and being called chokers.
....In the past two years, my two favorite teams have won the championship. Being a baseball fan is good.
Yes, the Boston Red Sox have won the World Series. The Curse is over. But then again, there is no curse for we make our own destination. You've read right, our own destination. The people of Boston (and me) can't believe our eyes, our luck for being able to see our Red Sox win a World Series in our lifetime, for so many other fans have spent an entire lifetime to see what we have seen in the past week. And I'm the luckiest with the Florida Marlins winning last year. Just a week and a half ago, they (Red Sox) were three outs away from being swept by their bitter rivals, but they did something that I've been told to do by everyone by entire life and hadn't seen before 2003......they never gave up. They tied the game then won it, then won another, and after all that they went on to the World Series where they swept the Cards. The Red Sox.

We make our own destination.
Moral of the Story: Never give up, no matter what (how corny, but true).....even if the odds, the world, and better looking guys (or girls) are up against you.
