2013 Leaving Moscow, starting a new chapter.

Holy crap! i still have this thing. I guess when i think about it, i do update it at least once a year. I got caught up for a couple hours last night reading old posts that i made 10 years ago. It's absolutely amazing how much someone can change in the course of 10 years. All the people that enter and leave your life, further shaping you into the entity that you currently are. I came to Moscow with no plan, i started a band..We played many, MANY shows. I met so many people, learned so many skills and matured in ways that i would have never really thought of or realized without going back 10 years and reading about some of the crap that went on lol.

It is however time for me to close the chapter on this town, and move on. Many of my friends have headed south to Boise, so that is where i will start the next chapter of my life. Make new friends, re-unite with old ones. I have become somewhat of a hermit in the last few years; gone from being a super social butterfly to being the person who would rather just stay at home and have a beer while i mess around with my technologies at home.

I've aquired a great deal of things over the years, can't really say that i saw myself being where i am today. I don't know really where i expected myself to be. These days i can picture an end result (destination) to my life but no means or way to get there. A house, in the mountains. Solitary, a garden. Yet retain all my modern amenities like my electricity and computer. It's possible, and i will find out a way. I have become increasingly good at problem solving over the last few years.

I tend to update more things of my life on Facebook these days, moved on with the rest of the world i suppose. Such is the leach that is social networking. It is however, much more difficult to convey what i like to think are full thoughts on facebook. Social network sites are just not meant for that i suppose. Maybe by design? Perhaps not...maybe i just read too much into it.

well...time for work. Only 2 more weeks of that too..then i gotta start searching for a new job in a new city.
