my music
i think i have finally figured out where i went wrong with my music.
I'm a talented musician; i can play, produce, write, record, and even mix every instrument.
yet i can't come up with lyrical content, nor can i come up with music to go with anyone else's lyrical content.
i believe that this is due to the fact that i have nothing to declare. No message. None.
all the bands of the past, and now...songs about sex, drugs, rock and roll, parties, breakups, broken hearts, government agendas, and all around peace promoting tunes from mr. marley himself.
they all have something to declare, some message to get out to the people. But what do people that are bitter with society, and have lost hope for general well being of the human race have to write about.
You'd think that there's a lot. not one single solitary thing comes to mind.
maybe i just need sleep.
