So I had one of my "oh fuck what am I going to do with a pointless BA in Psychology" freak out moments today. But, instead of turning the other cheek I actually looked up some stuff. I went into my online search thinking that all I was going to get was a BA degree. It's not that I wouldn't love to continue past an undergrad degree but rather I'm not sure I have the GPA to go any further. Well, after a few hours of research, I've come to the conclusion that there are hundreds of job opportunities for people with only a BA in Psychology. Sure, they may not be the greatest paying jobs in the world, but at least I will be able to apply my degree to something. And, there is always hope on graduate studies.
Also, I've been trying to plan out my next (and final) three quarters at Western for a good three hours. It's tough, because some classes are only offered once all year, some offered two of the three quarters, and some are offerred every quarter. Also, I'm probably going to take about 11 classes out of a population of 13 or 14.
Side note: I'm pissed off that seminars are only 3 credits!! That is such bullshit because I know I'm going to be putting in so much time on those courses compared to my 300-level psych courses which are 5 credits. Also, seminars have a crazy amount of outside work which isnt factored in to the credit amount.
This upcoming year is going to be full.
