Last night I went and saw the Kaiser Chiefs/Weezer/Foo Fighters show up in Denver. I've been trying to see the foo fighters for 8 years now, and finally had an oppertunity to see them. I ended up going with Mike who is also a big Foo fan. I wont go into crazy details, but some highlights for me was Weezer covering Foo fighters' "Big Me" and Dave playing drums while drummer Taylor Hawkins, fronting the band on a tribute to his newlywed wife. I never got to see Dave drum in the Nirvana days, but to see him drum on a track last night was definately a highlight for me. I had a great time, and im glad i finally got to see them!
