I have never been one to focus on holidays. I take note of New Year's, and I somewhat enjoyed the observation of setsubun, in my home, but Christmas was never particularly important to me. Respect-for-the-Aged Day is... well. It isn't uncalled for, anyway.

...burrow? You don't sound much like a rabbit.

[Liquid sounds amused.]

If you're going to sit in the snow, there are ways to stave off hypothermia. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and nicotine and be sure to eat plenty before you go out there. Also it's best to go out there when you're at peak energy. Hypothermia is more likely to set in if the wind chill is especially sharp or if your clothes get wet. As long as you wrap up, you should be fine even if you're small.

I am very far from a rabbit.

Hypothermia doesn't seem wholly unappealing, you see.

Yet you wish to burrow like one?

...you want to freeze to death?

Other things burrow, you know.

I would not be averse to it.

Humans generally don't.

Why would you wish such a thing upon yourself?

But sometimes!

It interests me.

I suppose that makes sense.

A death-seeker? Or perhaps you simply enjoy the experience?

Seems like both!

...hm. Interesting. [You get Liquid's non-verbal seal of approval, baba.] Why not take the risk, then?

I probably will take it! I am just consistently scolded, too.

Why? Because of your age? [She acts far above it, that's for sure...] It's easier to apologize than to argue for permission.

But it's difficult to apologize when I am no longer alive, when I am dead, and so the arguments do happen sometimes - because that apparently needs to be prevented.

If you enjoy it, why let them know? You can't really argue while you're dead anyway, so you might as well hide it from them.

...although you talk as if you've died before. That... is not generally possible.

[Except he'd done it. Which was very worrying.]

Because it's somewhat like a game to me. [And she does sound amused.] I have never been dead before.

A game? Do you mean you do it just to make them squirm and fuss?

Voice heartdissonance December 21 2010, 20:50:26 UTC
No. I'm more self-centered than that. But it's like a chase...
