[ All that could be seen from the CLD's viewpoint when it snapped on was a dimness. And perhaps if they looked hard enough, the viewer could see something resting against it although what was hard to make out. When the owner finally spoke up, their voice was distant. ]
I should have known it wouldn't be that easy... What a joke. [ The grimace in his voice was unmistakable. Frustrated. He was already so frustrated with this world. But try as he might to escape, the dark corridors wouldn't open at his command. Which left him ever more anxious. Or as anxious as a nobody could be. He sighed to himself. And then, exhaustively with a side of dryness, he muttered. ]
What do I do now...?
[ Suddenly, there was movement and then even the dimness was cut out. At least for a moment before the whatever was blocking the view gave way and this time, a teenager with ridiculously spiky blond hair with blue eyes could be seen, scrutinizing the CLD. His voice coming out clearer now. ] What is this thing anyway?
[ He fumbled around with it for a moment or so before the feed cut out abruptly. ]
