[The sound of someone writing as Ami speaks. Yes, she's...doing homework.]
So, I got a visit from ARCO and the medical licensing board several days ago. They told me I would have to give back my licenses if I couldn't prove I got them on my own merits. So, I ended up re-doing everything while they were watching, including the medical exam and my BHA paperwork. Even paying the filing fee again.
[A pause. One can almost imagine the smirk forming on her face.]
I passed them all, of course, again. Perfect score on the medical exam, again. Because of it, I even received an apology from the medical board for my troubles, which was nice of them!
But, I think I might not be the only one who will have to re-do everything over now. We're all suspect because of an unnecessary scare, so if your credentials are suddenly questioned and you have a license, well, you all know who to thank for the inconvenience.
[The sound of papers being shuffled.]
But enough of that. As you might have heard, as per arrangement I'm heading - and still heading - a primary care clinic that's to be opened in the next month or so. Of course there will be an official ad for job openings soon, but anyone looking for work is more than welcome to send their resumes to me. As a heads-up before the deluge, so to speak. You'll still have to fill out a Boston Hospital application on top of it, though, so keep that in mind.
I look forward to seeing what everyone's got to offer. So, good luck to those who decide to apply!
