I thought that this would be a good time to review some data from the past year or so.  I worked up a spreadsheet based on all of my Miata expenses thus far, and here are the numbers:

Total Spent in 2008 (Excluding Fuel): $5,547.32
Total Spent on Fuel in 2008: $879.58
