2009.01.31 - DRL / Twilight Turn Signals (Pt. 4)

- Fabricated bracket for resistors
- Fabricated wiring harness for relays and resistors
- Installed relays and resistors for DRLs
- Installed and connected wiring for DRLs

It's amazing how such difficult and time-consuming work can sound so easy when you summarize and generalize what you've done.  Everything went pretty smoothly (though tediously slowly) other than running out of the electrical connectors that I wanted to use and trying to run the wire to the NB fog switch.  I had to sharpen a coat hanger wire in order to poke a hole through the rubber-backed insulation.  It took some doing, but I finally got the wire routed through the firewall at the grommet beneath the wiper motor.  Once I got it all hooked up, I tested everything and it seems to work as desired.  I wouldn't mind if the turn filament was brighter when the parking light circuit is activated, but it should still be easily distinguishable at night.
