READ FIRST! Read all 4 books. READ! Seriously. I think you'll enjoy the movie a lot more if you're already in love with the characters.

They are useful, if nothing else for the camaraderie. As in, someone else knows what I'm talking about for once!

oh, and good luck with mom. Family is stress.

I'm going through another evaluation this week. They will decide if I have what it takes to make it here. I can do it, just have to convince them. If they decided I'm unfit...I should still be in the area, just not at ORD. keep your fingers crossed.
