Life as I know it is changing, but isn't it always?
The definition of "success" or alternatively "win"
Waking up next to a beautiful woman, whom I met online, earlier the same day, after drinking ourselves into oblivion, FULLY dressed. Good clean fun, innocent shenanigans. I'm playing things by ear for now, but we're supposed to go out again later this week/end. I'm not sure what I want/need right now. I do know that I want to see her again, so I'm gonna.
More on the home front
Mom is visiting me for two weeks, starting last Wednesday. Only a week and a half to go. She's driving me fvking crazy. She's mom, so she's supposed to. That doesn't make it less aggravating.
Work
I'm still collecting a paycheck, still out of ORD. That may or may not change by the end of the week. I hope I can stay.
The weather
I've had to break out my real winter jacket, not sure what that means. Did I become a Chicago pansie, or is it just damned ass cold? I think a little of both.
Fun
I just bought "Twilight." I'll probably see it before reading it, cuz I'm no purist. Problem is, most people that want to see it have already. I suck at seeing movies. I've heard good things, I've heard bad things. The thing is, I like vampires. Pop culture is giving me a vampire story. I'll bite. Oh yeah, I went there.
