Keep it away from the fire unless you want it to burn.

Hnnh, well.. the way I see it, I could either lament of heartache, or take it in stride and absorb the blows like a trooper. It may not lessen the impact, but there's no sense in making it any worse for myself. As my compeer Nick would say, it's a double-edged sword. Strangely coincidental, sometimes it seems like whenever i'm having relationship angst, my fellow buddies also experience similar hardship, I suppose at least i'm not the only mate aboard this sinking ship. Offhand note, it finally seems as though i'm becoming more comfortable behind the wheel and cruising. Depending on the day, I can be either timid or impulsive, on any given day behind the wheel I can be a tortoise or a hare, comes with being an enigma. Conversed with my comrade's father about my former ambition of becoming an actor, he suggested trying for the community theater group, I may look further into that after acquiring a job. I really need to get in the habit of actually going through with plans I make.

I've decided that in homage to Obi-Wan Kenobi i've let my facial hair grow out until after I see Star Wars: Episode III, i'm an appreciator of the films but unfortunately i'm not like the guys who suit up like Storm Troopers and camp outside the theater for days prior to the release of the movie. Spoke to a few girls who saw the movie at the midnight showing, overall good reaction to it, my comrade and I reserved tickets for tonight and saw it, I must say I was very impressed, awesome movie. Unfortunately I guess it's the end of the saga. Earlier my comrade suddenly found a spark of excitement which caused him to speed over to my house in his grandma's car, so we sped off to the theater and quickly bolted inside. My friend Matt was working there, a cool guy but freaking huge, not only is he tall but he's massive, not in a muscular way but rather a .. planetary way. My comrade mentioned how I should have spoken with him and gotten him to sneak us in so we could get the best seats, so we stood in the waiting area of the Ultrascreen showing, ended up standing between two annoying little kids and a nerdy couple (I deemed the guy Chewbacca because he was hairy and huge). Finally when they started letting everyone into the theater, Chewbacca-guy was ultimate cool by pretty much blocking the crowd behind us long enough to let my comrade and I into the theater so we beat the rush, my comrade unbeknownst to the man's benevolence, as we were weaving through the bars, he insisted we climb through the bars to get in there quicker, at first I didn't really want to because of knowing it would be pretty rude to do that after Chewbacca-guy helped us, but we climbed through the bars anyway, afterwards Chewbacca-guy called out " That was feeble, guys. " so we felt pretty bad about that. On the brightside, my comrade and I actually looked like Anakin and Obi-Wan with how we styled our hair and facial hair. Now that we've seen the movie, though .. i'll probably shave.

Quite a bit of rainfall, usually the rain puts me in a contemplative mood, but I feel moreso placid, not so much creative, just at peace. Conversed with my comrade over the phone for a bit while he downed some alcohol, he ended up falling asleep over the phone due to sudden exhaustion. For a moment while he first fell asleep and started breathing heavily, it kind of threw me off and made me think he was doing something else, however I was quite relieved to find he was passed out. Also spoke with Rachel for a few, she kind of gave me advice on .. what to say to a girl while making out, so I guess i'll have to try that out next time or something. Sometimes I say things like I wish I was more like the guys who 'hookup' with girls and just mess around without it really meaning anything, but after consideration, I think i'm overall happier with only being comfortable doing that type of thing with people I have true feelings for, otherwise it just feels too hollow. For a long while I felt strongly about how i'd lose my virginity, wanting my very first time to be with someone I love. It may sound sappy and sentimental, but i've always been sort of passionate about certain things like that, call me idealistic.

In summation, it probably isn't the brightest idea for me to have my head up in the clouds about finding that one girl, not when I have much more important priorities to attend to. All my life i've been a dreamer, and I suppose part of being a dreamer is not necessarily putting much thought into the responsibility of reality. I'm feeling very optimistic right now, for some reason i've found that whenever i'm relaxing and have a fan on, as simple as that sounds it does wonders for calming my high-strung nerves. Not sure why, but the combination of the breeze and sound of a fan has always sort of helped me relax, suppose it has something to do with almost always having a fan on when I was younger, the sound of it has always helped me sleep. Complete silence or the sound of birds chirping annoy me like you wouldn't believe. My mother always jests about that, poking fun at me whenever there's a bird chirping outside the house while I sort of grumble back in response, it's not that I dislike birds, it's just I wish they could merrily chirp not so close to my house.

Agenda is to get my license Saturday, hopefully that works out, when I get my driver's license i'll become a Jedi.

Alas, now I bask in the subconsciousness of my slumber.
