Had a very nice time with Varmint sunday - we went to see Zombieland and then to Chow Baby for dinner, both of which were quite enjoyable. We milled around the bookstore for a bit and then met his best friend for drinks and retired to the apt for Adult Swim and some "private time."

geekhound, evomethod, and myself visited journiey today and she is feeling much better on the morale front. She is still sore and tired of course but eating solid food and conversing with lucidity. Not sure when she is going home just yet, as she is still a bit low on blood from the surgery. They are giving her a transfusion today.

Talked to her yesterday she is up and around, though in a standard amount of post-op discomfort. She is sleeping on and off but they have her up and walking more and more as time goes on. thanks everyone for your concern. I am fine except for a sore chest where the seatbelt caught me. I am gonna go get checked out just to make my mom happy lol.
